How to play Outpost Zero
Outpost Zero is a persistent browser survival RPG. The basic loop is simple: recruit survivors, build enough Power for a mission, spend Energy to deploy, recover resources and invest them back into your squad and Base.
Build your first squad
Use the Squad screen to manage Vanguard, Scout, Medic and Engineer survivors. Healthy active survivors can be selected for expeditions.
Choose a mission you can realistically clear
Compare squad Power, Energy cost and travel time. Early missions in the Outpost Perimeter establish your supply of Credits, Scrap and basic equipment.
Recover and equip loot
Weapons, armor and utilities raise survivor combat capability. Materials should be saved for Workshop recipes and facility upgrades.
Upgrade the Base with a purpose
Generator improves Energy, Barracks expands survivor capacity, Workshop unlocks crafting tiers, Garage improves transport and Radio Tower opens deeper World Map zones.
Move into harder sectors
Account Level and Radio Tower progression unlock Blackwater Wastes, Exclusion Line, Reactor Graveyard and eventually The Deep Zone.
